We are super excited to be hosting a 4 night yoga and fitness retreat at the stunning Dell of Abernethy nestled within the Cairngorms National Park. You can expect morning yoga classes in the tipi, woodland hikes, bike rides to Loch Garten for a cold water swim and plenty of garden workouts.

This retreat is the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself physically, meet like-minded people, immerse in the outdoors and nourish your body with delicious food.

Your home for the retreat

The Dell of Abernethy is situated at the end of the road in Nethy Bridge with grounds that back onto beautiful scots pine woodland. The lodge house and surrounding cottages is the perfect abode for our retreat with their cosy bedrooms and inviting living spaces. There will be plenty of time to relax, read a book or treat yourself to a massage in this stunning accommodation during your stay.

Retreat activities

  • Yoga – vinyasa is usually the style of yoga delivered. All classes will be taught in the woodland tipi.
  • Fitness – a variety of workouts will be delivered including resistance training, circuits and recovery sessions.

  • Hiking – get ready to explore the surrounding Cairngorms National Park and even aim to climb a couple of small hills to get the heart rate up!

  • Biking – we’ll head out on the bikes to Loch Garten with our swim stuff to enjoy a cold water dip.

***We recommend some previous experience of yoga and an intermediate level of fitness to make the most of our retreats!***

Food that nourishes the soul

Let’s be honest, the food at a retreat is just as important as the workouts! We don’t believe in calorie counting or restricting food groups, which is why you’ll eat healthy and hearty meals during the retreat to make sure you stay fuelled. We’ll provide 3 delicious meals a day as well as snacks to make sure you never go hungry! There is even a little boutique tuck shop at the Dell in case you fancy any other treats!
